Dress Code for Blake Academy

Collar Shirts (worn on Monday through Thursday):
Adult Sizes: $15.00; Youth Sizes: $14:00

Tee Shirts (worn on Friday Only):
$10.00

Cash and Money Orders are the only accepted payments for purchases at school.

Remember!

Every Wednesday is DRESS UNIFORM DAY.

Dress Uniform can also be worn any day of the week. 
Dress Uniform is defined as: Khaki pants or shorts, jumper or skirt with a burgundy collared shirt.

Daily Uniforms

 

Students will wear collared shirts with Blake Academy logo (burgundy or gray). The girls have the option of wearing burgundy plaid jumpers and skirts with burgundy or gray collared Blake Academy logo shirts. Hair Color is natural. No color streaks that are distracting.

Friday Tops

Students will have the option of wearing the teal Blake Academy logo T-shirt or the Blake Academy Club T-shirt instead of collared shirts.

 

All students attending R.W. Blake Academy are required to wear the school uniform while on campus.  The school uniform shirt must have the Blake School logo and it must be tucked in at all times and belts must be worn if pants have loops.  School approved T-shirts are acceptable on Fridays only (Blake Academy Designed T-shirts only).  The Blake Academy uniform shall consist of:

 Boys:

 Ø      Pants – Khaki, or Plain Blue denim

Regular cut, Regular fit, at the waist, and ankle length

Plain pocket, belt loops require a belt

 

 Ø      Shorts – Khaki, or Plain Blue denim

  Fingertip length, above the knee

  Plain pocket, belt loops require a belt

 

 Ø      Shirts – Collared – Burgundy or Grey with the required Blake Logo

 T-Shirt – Blake Academy Designs only, worn on Fridays only

 

 Girls:

 

 Ø      Pants -  Khaki, or Plain Blue denim

Regular cut, Regular fit, at the waist, and ankle length

Capri pants are acceptable.

 

 

 Ø      Shorts -  Khaki,  Burgundy plaid, or Plain Blue denim

Belts – Plain Black, Plain Brown or navy blue, must be worn if the shorts or slacks have belt loops

 

Sweatshirt – School sweatshirt only, Burgundy, collared school shirt will be worn under the sweatshirt

 

Shoes – Tennis, Oxford, Conservative, Closed toe and back

 

Jewelry – Conservative

 

Photo ID – School ID only.  Blake Academy will issue a photo ID to each student to be worn on

                   campus.  The ID will be used to pay for lunch, check out library books, and for

                   attendance.  The ID’s will be kept in the family classroom.

 

Middle School PE Uniform -  Teal Friday shirts, and black shorts

                                                Plain gray shirts are optional

                                                P.E. Bag is optional

 

 Special Notes:

Ø      Collared shirts are to be worn Monday through Thursday

Ø      Blake T-shirts may be worn on Fridays only

Ø      Dress outfit: Required for all students every Wednesday.  Also required for special events and/or field trips

                           Boys – Khaki bottoms and Burgundy collared logo shirt

                           Girls – Khaki Jumper or bottoms and Burgundy collared logo shirt

Ø      **Shorts, Slacks, Skirts/Skorts, Jumper: Please be advised that Navy cotton twill, and Black denim will no longer be allowed.  

 

 Unacceptable Dress:

Ø      Other logos or labels (Blake Academy logos only)

Ø      Pants – Stone washed, faded, cargo baggies, sweat pants, multi-color, patched, wide leg, bell bottom, appliquéd, fringed, studs, or embroidered

Ø      Shorts- Stone washed, faded, cargo baggies, multi-colored or patched, fringed, appliquéd, embroidered, studs

Ø      Skirts/Skorts – stone washed, faded, multi-colored, embroidered, studs, appliquéd, fringed

 

Ø      Jumper – Faded, multi-colored, embroidered, studs, appliquéd, denim, no buckles 

Ø      Shoes – Sandals, high heel, open toe or back, wheels

Ø      Jewelry – Large or dangle earrings, necklaces, rings or bracelets

      K-5 Students - Natural Hair Color ONLY.
