CELL PHONE TIPS
1. Password
protect your cell phone and don’t share the password with friends! If the cell
phone is stolen it is useless without purchasing a new sim card and going
through the cell phone provider company.
2. Keep your
cell phone turned off and on your person or locked in a book bag. Luggage locks
are a good investment for book bags and can secure the zippered compartment
holding the cell phone.
3. Use a
prepaid for minutes and inexpensive cell phone at school. Expensive items have
no business at school and increase the likely hood of theft. Keep it simple.
4. Keep the
serial number, model number and purchase information of your cell phone. If the
cell phone is stolen or damaged you will need this information for the police
report.
