LAW ENFORCEMENT CORNER

Hello Parents,                        

            This month I would like to discuss gun safety. Being safe with guns can protect kids, teens, and adults from being hurt and stop criminal charges from being brought against parents that allow children to gain access to their guns.

Parents need to keep all guns and ammunition separate and keep their guns in a gun lock box. Keep the gun lock box key in an inaccessible place and away from the children. Teach your children that guns are not toys. 

Teach your children when they come across a gun to

·        STOP

·        DON’T TOUCH

·        LEAVE THE AREA

·        NOTIFY AN ADULT
